A Note from Our Pastor…
Congratulations on your engagement! Thank you for considering Grace Lutheran Church as the location for your upcoming marriage ceremony. It is a privilege and a joy to host weddings and to be part of your lives. Below I have noted some of the unique characteristics of our worship space.

In addition to our worship space, Grace is ideally located off the I-10 freeway and 2 blocks from a light rail station. There are several hotels close by for visiting friends and family. Grace also offers a Fellowship Hall or Courtyard for your reception. We are handicapped accessible and provide plenty of parking with two parking lots. Please contact our Administrative Assistant in the church office at 602-258-3787 to schedule your wedding.

Pastoral Staff
Our pastor is available to officiate at your wedding and help you plan a beautiful and meaningful worship service. Both Lutheran and non-Lutheran clergy are also welcome to officiate at the discretion of our pastor. If our pastor officiates, the couple will participate in pre-marital counseling.
Music/Organist
There is a beautiful full range, high quality pipe organ available for your wedding service. There is also a piano in the sanctuary. Our organist will assist you in selecting from a broad repertoire of musical selections that will enrich your wedding service. Recorded music can also be played utilizing the sanctuary’s sound system.
Flowers, Decorations, and Furnishings
The use of real flowers is permitted. We furnish two matching 7-branch candelabra and a 3-branch unity candle, if you wish to use them. Candles for these items are to be furnished by the couple. A beautiful kneeler is also available. Pew decorations are permitted provided masking tape is used. The sanctuary has a 45-foot long aisle. The use of an aisle runner is suggested and adds a stunning touch to the Bride’s entrance.
Reception
Your reception may be held at Grace in the Fellowship Hall or in the courtyard. There is a separate fee for the use of the Fellowship Hall, and please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the Church property.
Special Considerations
A stand is provided in the Narthex for the use of your guest book.
A quaint Bride’s Room is available in the church for the bride and her party.
Because of possible injury, throwing rice, birdseed, or the use of bubbles is not permitted on church property.
Wedding Fees
Our wedding package is $3,000 which includes:
Church: Wedding & Rehearsal
Sound Technician
Custodian: Wedding & Rehearsal
Pastor
The Organist is available for an additional fee of $200 as well as a vocalist for an additional $200.
RECEPTION
Fellowship Hall** $120/hour
Custodian $75
Kitchen*** $90/hour
** Fellowship Hall is $120 per hour for the first 4 hours; each additional hour is $50 per hour.
*** If your caterer will be preparing food in the church kitchen, the fee is $90 per hour for the first 4 hours and $50 per hour for each additional hour. An additional custodial fee of $75 will be charged for kitchen clean-up.
A non-refundable deposit of half the total cost is required when a date has been reserved with the church. The deposit will be applied to the fees. All remaining fees are to be paid to Grace Lutheran Church not later than 2 business days prior to the wedding.
