The Grand Canyon Synod will meet in assembly on June 14-15, and the synod office has invited in-kind donations of the following to benefit asylum-seekers through Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest. We will receive these items through June 9.
New, WHITE towels (white can be easily bleached in the laundry)
Over the Counter medications (Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tums, cold and flu remedies)
New underwear, socks – men, women size s/m, children all sizes
Hygiene items – travel sized soap, deodorant, toothpaste, women’s pads, shampoo/conditioner
Food – travel snack bags for bus
Backpacks
Used or new clothing, shoes – all sizes
Donations can be brought to worship on Sunday morning and placed in the designated containers or to the church office during office hours.
